Delivery Terms

OTP Building Plastics endeavour to make all deliveries as soon as possible.  They will either be delivered using or own transport, or by our regular couriers.

Delivery Charges

Rate 1         –                       Small post able items of less than 1.5m are sent via a carrier at £5.99

Rate 2         –                       Bulk item delivery charges starts at £19.99

Rate 3         –                       Free delivery on under 1.5m with a value over £100 plus vat

Rate 4         –                       Free delivery on orders over 1.5m with a value over £200 plus vat 

All our delivery charges are based on the customer being available to accept the goods.  This includes, on heavier items the ability or willingness to manually offload the goods.

While we make every effort to ensure orders are delivered by the delivery date required, we cannot guarantee availability from the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s delivery schedule.  Any variation to the delivery date given will be advised to you by email or telephone.  If we are unable to make delivery because access is not possible, we reserve the right to make a failed delivery charge.

Delivery restrictions

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a next day delivery service for the Scilly Isles, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and The Highland and Islands of Scotland.  These areas are serviced with a 4-7 working day delivery service and additional charged will be added for these particular areas.

Delivery

When goods are delivered, it is your or the person delegated responsibility to check and sign for the goods.   All items must be checked for any sign of damage or picking errors upon delivery.  Please check that they are not damaged and that the items are in good condition.  Once you have signed for the goods in good condition any insurance cover ceased and any replacement goods must be paid for.

PLEASE NOTE:

SIGNING THE DELIVERY COMPANY DELIVERY NOTE AS “UNCHECKED” OR NOT WRITING ON THE DELIVERY NOTE WHAT IS DAMAGED MEANS THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE GOODS IN GOOD CONDITION.

Planning your installation

We would like to advise you not to book your builder or hire equipment prior to the materials your ordering arriving safely on site, lost packages are insured by the courier service and so will be replaced we are not able to compensate you for builders time, hire costs or other charges related to a late delivery.  Unless you have paid an extra charge for Special Saturday Delivery, then no deliveries are made at the weekend.

Please do not remove your windows & doors from your property until your windows & doors have been delivered and checked.  As with Fascia’s & Soffit’s we would like to advise you not to book your builder or hire equipment prior to the materials you ordered arriving safely on site.

Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions the Company shall not in any event be liable to the Customer for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense.

Returns Terms

DELIVERED PRODUCTS

You must inform the office by email (returns@otpsupplies.co.uk) within 3 days of delivery, of the exact quantities, products codes of claims before any returns can be authorised.

No credits, refunds or replacements will be issued if the original delivery documents are not checked, clearly signed by both the customer and the OTP driver or logistics company before the delivery vehicle leaves the customers site.

Cancelled Orders

In cases where an order needs to be cancelled or returned, a 30% re-stocking fee will be applied.  Any return postage costs will need to be paid by you (the customer).  We will allow the return/exchange of goods within 14 days of purchase on the understanding that they are in the same condition that they were when they were purchased with the original packaging, tags, labels and accessories.

Delivery Errors

Incorrectly delivered stock will be accepted for return within 14 days of receipt of delivery.  All returned products must be in a re-sellable condition.  We cannot accept damaged products or products with damaged packaging.

Damaged Products

Products damaged in transit must be returned to OTP for verification within 7 days of receipt of delivery before any credits can be issued.  Clear notification of the damage must be stated on the delivery documents, to help us eliminate fraudulent claims.

Defective Products

All products with quality issues preventing installation must be returned for examination within 14 days of receipt of delivery, so we can review and resolve any issues. Once a returned product is agreed as defective, a full refund or credit will be issued. We cannot accept damaged products or products with damaged packaging.

Non-returnable goods

We are unable to offer refunds or an exchange on products that have been cut to size, made to measure or mixed for your individual requirements.

Perishable goods are not able to be returned (Silicones, Plaster, Cement etc).

COLLECTED PRODUCTS

We will allow the return/exchange of goods within 28 days from the date of purchase on the understanding that they are in the same condition that they were when originally purchased with the original packaging, tags, labels and accessories.  Please have your original invoice/receipt with you to do this. We cannot accept damaged products or products with damaged packaging.

Returns to stock – ordered in error

Products ordered in error will be accepted for return within 14 days of receipt of delivery.  All returned products must be in a re-sellable condition.

A 30% re-stocking fee will be charged in the event of any returns, where a product has not been deemed faulty or not fit for purpose.

Please have your original invoice/receipt with you to do this.

If the goods have been delivered prior to us receiving notification of your wish to cancel the order, it your responsibility to return the goods to us at your expense.

We are under no obligation to arrange for the collection of goods to be returned, if however we agree to arrange for the return of goods we will advise of you of the cost incurred by us in doing so, and will require payment to cover these cost prior to arranging the return.

We reserve the right to refuse a return or to require proof of purchase and identity.

A refund cannot be made to a credit/debit card that differs from that used to in the original transaction.
